Getting a Patriarchal Blessing

My earliest memories are of ethiopia, africa. And these were all fulfilments of my mam's patriarchal blessing that she pointed out to me. That helped me go into my experience of receiving my patriarchal blessing with a very different mind set than i would have had at age 13. I write in the book about a young man who brought a girl friend with him to receive his patriarchal blessing. But then when they broke up shortly after that, he just felt a little bad having shared such a special moment with somebody who just wasn't going to be part of his life.
