The Beauty of Simple Theories

This preference for theories which are simple and elegant is also expressed in the famous Occam's Razor. The idea is that if you have two theories that make the same predictions, you should choose the one that needs the fewest assumptions. So we've talked about elegant and simplicity, but are there any other things that make a theory feel beautiful? One thing that some physicists are drawn to has to do with the quality of uniqueness.
