The Importance of Purpose in Exile

Exiled people might understandably focus on a small set of priorities. But God called his people to look farther and higher, beyond the walls of self and home. The word exile welcomed them into a reality they may have struggled to remember at home. In Christ, we too are sojourners and exiles, even if we live in a place we love.
