It seems like there's just this Severe imbalance In so many spiritual communities Where that side of humanity Which is just like That side of humanity which is just as valid Is wiped off the table. We have to find a way To marry individual Independence and the rights of the individual To be who they are Whether that's traditional and progressive And the need for some kind of consensus Around what our values are. It seems like religion has become something For other people Religions become something To shout across a wall rather Than practicing silence and solitude.
