Lucy by the Sea - A Novel Review

The premise of the book generally is that the pandemic is starting. William, as Lucy's ex-husband, comes to pick her up in New York and says, we have to get out of here. And they're having a conversation shortly after they get there. It embedded in that line is the fact that out of all the people in his life, she was the one. But I thought it was also a really unique way of writing the sentence where you said, Lucy, yours is the life I wanted to save.
