How to Break the Cycle of Tyranny of the Individual Voice of the Storyteller

The opera seeks to interrupt the repetition of the same story being played out, that's played out in this original myth. And I'm looking for a way that as a writer, I can even interrupt the way that the endings are usually created. The process of making the opera has unlocked a question about who gets to tell the story. Even me as a woman in the 21st century and it's a time when voices that have often been in the background now get to come up and direct new narratives.
