What is late stage capitalism? I don't think it is anything. That's a term, you know, late, late capitalism, late stage capitalism, just kind of a snarky Twitter term that's popped up. The drive to always have more create results in things like the financial engineering that created this crisis because it's just looking for more and more value everywhere. What are elements of Marxism that we might do well to have as a lens on hand to look at situations through? You can be totally opposed to most Marxist principles, but I think you can hold on to the idea that a better world is possible.
