How to Avoid Copyrighting Brand Content on the App Store
"I'm in this like legal hell that I'm not entirely clear how to get out of," says developer. "The answer is not just don't show copyrighted content because if he does not copyright content, his app has no graphics." If you end up not being able to use any images in your app, you can just re-theme the whole app to look like one of those cool lookup things. That would be awesome. Or you can just submit it with different screenshots and see if that gets through.
