Is Your Thing Going to Rub Off on Me?

I don't believe in comparative suffering, all of us have some level of pain that we've had in our lives. At every moment, we're all walking around with whatever our softness is and what our vulnerabilities are. If we haven't worked on ourselves, if we haven't invested in this interior human reality, so these dynamics that happen inside a human body and a human heart and a human mind translate to the larger sphere. We don't want to live this way. I think that is the generative, life-giving spiritual challenge. How do we walk into that conviction?
