Government Deficits Are Continuing to Rise
In the first four months of this fiscal year the deficit widened to $460 billion that's up 78% from $259 billion in the same four months of last fiscal year. The United States today spends between three to four times more than the Chinese do on defense. So we have set ourselves into this treadmill of ever-growing deficits and there's no end to it in sight. It could come back down to zero but it's unlikely anytime soon.
