Lane: I was surprised to hear that kind of blunt and clumsy language come out of my own mouth. We all absorb this poison of racism because everyone does it's like a sickness, Lane says. If we keep saying oh I didn't get that I didn't breathe in the germs then we can't go about the process of getting medicine and flushing it out of ourselves right because we're in denial. The only way to fix that is to really start to learn or she says detox and become aware of that and do better.
