The Transcendental Event of God's Revelation
For Bart, the act of revelation is a personal, concrete encounter between God and man. In this way, God is wholly given over to man in the humanity of Jesus Christ. When He reveals Himself in His own transcendent history, He leaves none of himself behind. Here and only here do we have God's time for us.
