Greenland Ice Sheet

Greenland's ice sheet is roughly the size of Alaska and Antarctica is about eight Alaska's. Earlier in earth's history until about 11,000 years ago ice sheets and glaciers covered most of the northern hemisphere. That means a lot of ice has disappeared over the past 10,000 years but what our listener David wants to know is how long might it take for the remaining ice to turn into water which is what Jason and his team are here to study.
