Pairing is just two people looking at the same code at the same time. You cannot pair with somebody for an hour, especial if you're watching them right. Don't make a big deal out of it and try not to let bad experiences turn you off par programming. It helps choose some one that you already trust more than others. Those are nice attributes for this type of pairing. And i think you will see your code improve.
