How to Communicate Science to Not Scientists

There's like no training in any of our you know training lineage of how to communicate science to not scientists. I love pointing out how things that are therapeutically useful started as mm-hmm oh let's just look and see what's going on right. People say they love hearing us talk about science how it gets done because we're normal people like them. They particularly like us talking about how the paper is a linear progression of the story but it doesn't actually happen that way right.
