The training stimulus matches the desired adaptation, be it in a strength speed, power or speed strength zone for these horizontal strength training modalities. So really building on some work by the likes of Brian Mann in a linear plane of motion. One un-resisted sprint trial, two resisted sprint trials. Then a speed strength zone, then a power zone, and last one a strength speed zone.
