Shankara or Advaitin, will answer very subtle but very powerful. What is necessary for making a mistake? Opponent says, you must have seen a snake earlier. Shankara: All that is necessary for the sum-scar or the tendency to be there is to have an experience. An experience of a false snake can give you some scar and make you see a false snake later. If you have it once, you can have a recurrent nightmare. Where does it come from? From the previous nightmare. We are seeing body, mind where only Brahman exists. It didn't start first. It is beginningless.
Adhyasa Bhashya is Adi Shankara’s introduction to the Brahma Sutras. Swami Sarvapriyananda gives a brief overview of this commentary, over three sessions.
