Capitalism is 100% literally impossible at least to me to imagine a more Work obsessed system than the modern iteration Of capitalism. The average American cannot afford a surprise 400 expense so if you are not always working and always bringing in that money If you're living paycheck to paycheck, you can't afford to take that time off. It's tough here in the states because a lot of times companies will give you unpaid time off. But they're also creating a tremendously burned out depressed workforce That doesn't really have the money To purchase a lot of the products that keep the consumption machine running.
