Aeroplane High Jacking

The emergence of this new technique is really borrowed from the states use of political violence. But what's quite interesting is the newly instated government, having recognized the awesome power of these highjack planes, essentially starts instituting a bunch of counter measures. So planes carry ex or fuels, but also, most importantly, they radio the air fields prior to landing in order to insure that the air fields are still under government control. It lasts for about a year or so, and then mostly disappears for nearly 20 years before it re emerges somewhere else. That's fascinating.
