I don't think it would be possible to switch the Mac version to a subscription because people already paid. I feel like I can argue both ways for the final cut on iPad. So, whether it's 50 or 100 or however many dollars you pay, I use Lightroom regularly. I use Photoshop in the studio. Obviously, After Effects is very useful for Michael for animation. It works out that we get our value out of it, but I don't, not everybody's going to love a subscription thing.
