We're producing more productive output per calorie of energy than humanity has ever done before. As we build within the exponential age, new forms of electricity that come from new sources are in an exponential downward path in costs. The issue is, is some of them don't scale big enough yet. We have had a world for the last 100 years where all energy is basically the oil price.
