What Are the Differences Between Leading and Driving Shepherds?

There's two different kinds of shepherds leading and driving. Driving shepherds which are common in Australia lead the flock from behind using their staff to move them in a particular direction. Leading shepherds who are more common in the eastern part of the world lead the sheep from in front and the sheep follow. Jesus is a leading shepherd not a driving shepherd because trauma is counteracted by love and love is always invitational and never demanded. Love is being wooed by his voice not pushed and prodded by his staff.
