The Book of King's Tales

The book of first kins begins with the throne of solomon being established and his many building projects. Queen sheba visits solomon in chapter ten, where we are told about solomon's incredible splendor. This very next chapter tells us that solomon's 700 wives and how they lead him astray to idolatry. It's at this point where solomon's kingdom falls apart. And the book of second samuel comes to an end.
