The Power of Faith

The experience may have come to you directly that way or it may have came to you through inference. You read all of the writings of St. John of the Cross and Teresa and on and on, all of the mystics and visionaries who recorded history say well they can't all be nuts, they must be talking about something. So you sort of infer the presence of this other thing but you don't know about it. And the third way is that you trust the fact that there are realized beings and they've set it and therefore you know it to be true. It's not inference anymore, it's not an intellectual process, you just accept what they have said as faith. See
