Nonalit cubans saw what was going on in saint domain, and you actually get a really noticeable increase in the frequency of rebellions and conspiracy. The other group that had a real impact on this for free people of color were those who acquired their freedom through self purchase or manuision. And they also engaged in conspiracies and rebellions against slavery and against the spans state. So we definitely had an impact, and it was an impact that was both intellectual and imaginative but also political and military because they tried to organize against slavery.
