What Is Representational Momentum?

Theory called representational momentum has been cited to explain something about how we represent change in physical space. People misremember things as being sort of like forwarding time or more changed than they really were, and importantly, you make this error in the direction of the change. And so that's a really nice example of how representations of change leave traces in other processes.
