The Role of Cooperation Between Civil and Military Authorities in China

Eric Liu: This paper brought up, I think, three things that if I have the time I would love to dig into. The first is this very consistent mention by people in the PLA of using the sort of constellation of social credit schemes in China to manage the military specifically. He says there's a lot of cooperation happening between civilians and the military in a lot of other ways. Liu: How much does politics interfere with the organizational resilience and fighting effect as a PLA? We hope we'll never know.
