In an oral history of Terminator 2 for the ringer, James Cameron admitted that he was high on ecstasy when he conceived of the plot of Terminator 2. In Sting's song "I hope the Russians love their children too," Sumner writes: The idea of nuclear war is just so antithetical to life itself. That's where the kid came from.
