In her new book, Ava DuVernay talks about being a mother to your parents. She says she's noticed that in the last year or so they've become more open and honest with each other. But there are still parts of their relationship that can be triggering for both mothers and fathers. "I don't think that i should be my mother, a mother to my ma," writes Duvvernay.
