The Energy Payback Time
Energy payback time is how long you would need to run your solar panel for before it has generated as much energy as was invested in it. Typical value for for the energy payback time would be about a year. It depends where you make it, and what kind of materials are used. But there's no question thatSolar power could generate a large fraction of our electricity. And if we don't stop emitting carbon emissions then this will have to change too.
