He was the only person up to that point who actually sat down with African people and asked them what was going on in the Congo. Seven or eight years later, another amateur journalist named Morrell stumbles upon the conspiracy. And basically he starts a newspaper that is focused entirely on exposingKing Leopold's crimes.
