How Did You Become Steward of the Spin Out?
The spin-out was done without the need for a large non-dilutive grant or something like that. "We were able to do it consistent with our own principles and objectives," says Dr. David Schulder, former president of the academy. He went from being an apartment chair at age 14 to leading one of the world's largest health care organizations.
