The Ideal Balance of Ambition and Aspiration
I'm torn between two visions. One is Plato's idea that everyone should spend their whole life aspiring and that it's just infinite aspiration. The other vision is Aristotle who says aspire until you're about 30 40 and then you know your whole life's not about making you perfect but help other people. I do feel like we need more aspiration. It depends on how fixed your conception of helping others are.
