i think it's an endless regress, because you can always ask why the why assumption became primary. It seems to me to have something to do with your aims. You're more likely to listen to a voice that is in keeping with your most fundamental aims. And from what i've been able to determine, and i'll speak psychologically again, is that, to begin with, you're a concantenation of rather primitive sub personalities. That underlying multiplicity starts to form itself into unity. But then there's ther division, which seems to me to parally parallel the the can an abal division.
