I Can't Eat Anymore Sea Turtles

The turtle was a potent symbol of rural life, from fishermen who fed their families with it. The most powerful people in power regularly ate sea turtles at public events. To go in and to be an armshaire conservation is to say you can't eat any more turtle. But if these two middle class white guys wanted to save turtles they'd have to find a way to connect with the mexican fishermen who were hunting and eating the species they wanted to save.
