swift will automatically mark all unfinished tasks as cancelled in case one of them throws when you use a sinclet. What to actually do in response to that cancellation is completely up to us. We also need to explicitly check for cancellation within our synchronous code and terminate its execution. So the actual checking is not the complicated part. It's that we have to remember to do it and to decide when it's the most appropriate time to perform those cancellation checks.
