The Cost of Living in the United States
The CPI came out this morning. It's still higher than we want. And obviously compared to a very high month last year. So on a net basis over the past few years, we're just getting crushed by inflation. But especially with contractions, especially with the fact that oil is not necessarily going to be fully priced in dollars anymore. If you have these BRICS countries who now may be able to trade in other places and that becomes more expensive, that means we could have anywhere going to range from 3, 4, 5% inflation a year. That would just absolutely decimate the middle and working class is purchasing power.
