Kebesa Devaka's Trail to Catch the Spanish

Kebesa Devaka set out with only Esta Venico and a few Indians, intent on catching up to his countrymen. It's not known exactly when and where he reached the Pacific Ocean. He would follow their trail for days until they encountered Spanish soldiers who were in the area trying to capture slaves. The people had fled into the mountains to escape them. Kebesa Devka tried to reassure the Indians that were traveling with him, but it was a difficult task.
