The Third American Dream

The third American dream is more and more. It's essentially so far as I can tell the desire to create value. People in Washington, D.C., don't say they really want to own a home. They want to do something that is significant or that creates value. And we know from happiness studies that people that find satisfaction in their work are people who think they're doing something of value for others.
