Is the Digital Economy Changing the Business Model of Digital Banks?

Banks make most of their money by lending money to customers. Who knew? And yet a lot of the conversation in tech and FinTech has been focused upon what we consider to be 20% of the market. We feel a bit more vindicated that it's quite difficult to build a prime mortgage lending business. But in a more normal interest rate environment, actually, this model is more powerful. Our real focus is not upon resatigising. It's upon executing. It'sUpon creating more capacity, more scale. And it's about doubling down because it works.
