Under AB 2273, any company doing modest amount of commerce on the internet will have to produce these data protection impact assessments they'll have to do for every product service and feature on their websites. Children in this context is defined as anyone under the age of 18. And there's no distinction. So effectively, you have to treat anyone who is 17 the same as if they were five. That is really weird because if you know children anywhere in that age range, they're very different and they change over time.
