The Mythology of Codependency
Vampirism, the mythological law, has interesting comparisons in many vamperic traditions. A a vampire couldn't just pull you out from the street, they had to coerce you and trick you into inviting you across the threshold. Codependency means were very, very open to attachment. People with good enough parents are raised in an environment that allows them to have boundaries and judgment about who and what to attach to. Let the right one in. Ironically enough, about vampires. Er narsisism.
