Google Fixes a Bogus Airline Customer Support Number
A man called Delta customer support after his flight from JFK airport was canceled. He realized that he had been speaking to a scammer who'd replaced the number for Delta's JFK office on Google with another number. This gentleman, after running into this situation, checked support phone numbers for a bunch of different airlines at JFK. And he discovered that Delta, American Airlines, Southwest, Air France, Qantas, ITA Airways, and Turkish Airways all had bogus phone numbers on Google Maps. The folks at the record contacted Google and they didn't- Let me see, let me use my powers of clairvoyance here. They didn't respond. But you couldn't guess what the response
