Are We Going to See Investors Recognizing Higher Inflation?
The Dow Jones was off a little over 150 points by the time they rang the closing bell. Bond prices slipped a bit, yields edged higher and gold rallied about a buck. But I think investors are still being much too complacent in their willingness to challenge the optimistic narrative on declining inflation. And it's a self perpetuating spiral, but retirees and everybody else for that matter will fall further and further behind.
