The Effects of the Media Strike on Television Production
Even Netflix executives have said it on their earnings call, most of the executives who run these big media companies have said we're good for at least a few months. I don't get the sense that anyone thinks that there will be real pain or that the average viewer will notice any difference anytime soon. All those shows that are supposed to come out in the fall typically are not produced until the summer and that are being produced while new episodes are being released. If you've got a show that they've used in September, the episode that is released in November is sometimes shot in September or October or whatever it is. That will get affected in some ways.
