The National Police Agency's Traffic Enforcement Campaign

The National Police Agency launched an island-wide traffic enforcement campaign to raise motorists awareness of pedestrians' rights away. Michael: I was very struck by how CTI will be at, just with somebody with a phone or maybe a computer, talking to people and showing you what the turnout looks like. And it is quite innovative, I think. There's so much more discussion now, particularly with the new framing of Taiwan's traffic issues as pedestrian hell. He says he believes that in his personal experience most motorists yield to pedestrians on the crosswalk most of the time.
