Some native speakers might assume that those phrases are easier than their equivalents. But actually it's the other way round a lot of the time. And if we're in an international group and everyone is using the word like distribute and not hand out, or whatever it may beem e, if we, as a native seak, can, not always, but sometimes, adapt our language, we would be easier to understand.
