The Sowing of the Word in the Hearts of People
The word that jesus is giving here is part of the sowing that it describes. The parable of the sower is itself a sowing of the word in the hearts of people. They are being called to be those who bring forth fruit. This emphasis upon hearing is not just found in jesus words, itis also seen in the words of isaiah,.
