The Pressure to Modify the Election Process
The Washington Post published a draft memo that was not released by the staffers who were working on the social media end of the operation. Some of their findings had to do with why in their view major social media companies, so including meta, Twitter, YouTube, others, didn't do more to kind of suppress or limit the circulation of or ban speech encouraging violence. There's lots of ways that people are able to encourage those kinds of gatherings without misinforming people. The best way to get people to doubt an election is to take an instance of voter fraud and make it seem like it's more common than it is.
