How to Talk to a Four-Year-Old

Alexa tells you that someone's at the door. We live in a futuristic house. Yes. Because we're my studios in the garden. So what we say, oh, yes. And so then I'd add something on. So I'd say exactly the way he'd said it, mommy juice, and then I'd please because I want them to be polite. Then I don't know where the switch came, but I think about the way I talked to Jacob, my four year old, and I pretty much talked to him in the way I would talk to any adult. It's very natural. He doesn't understand, but he'll ask me, say, Mommy
